A student is eligible when the following criteria are satisfied:
The student satisfies all the minimum academic requirements specified by the company.
The student has no job in hand
Or the student has one non-dream job and is sitting for his dream job.
There are two possibilities:
1. The student has got his/her dream job
In this case, the student cannot sit for further placement and is only eligible to sit for "OPEN" (refer : open ) companies.
2. The student has got a non-dream job
In this case, the student is eligible to sit for his/her Dream job or "OPEN" (refer : open ) companies.
A student is OUT OF PLACEMENT when he/she fulfils any one of the criteria :
A student is blacklisted if he/she fails to comply with the rules of the Placement Department. In such an event, the student shall be debarred from further placement and their existing job offers will be cancelled.
For students under the 4-point credit system, the procedure is CGPA*18+20=Equivalent percentage
Eg: If CGPA is 3.00, then the equivalent percentage = 3.00*18+30=74%
For students under the 10-point grading system, the procedure is CGPA*9.3=Equivalent percentage
Eg: If CGPA is 9.00, then the equivalent percentage = 9.00*9.3=83.7%
When a Company is declared OPEN, it means that all students who do not have two jobs can participate in the placement procedure for this particular company.
